Bupleurum & Angelica (liquid formula)
This formula is a modification of Zhang Zhongjing’s Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) with additional ingredients based on Bob Flaws’s research and clinical experience. Our version is a 12:1, 2 oz. liquid extract in a glycerin base.
Pattern Discrimination
Pediatric food stagnation transforming heat and ascending through internal branches of the large intestine channel to steam and fume in the region of the ear. There may also be signs of spleen qi vacuity.
